Green Bean Special
2 lbs. bag or 3 (10 oz.) pkg of frozen green beans
1 can water chestnuts, sliced
1/2 cup onion, finely chopped
2 tablespoon margarine
1 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon seasoned salt
1 teaspoon vinegar
dash of pepper
1 cup sour cream
Cook green beans just until tender.
Add water chestnuts and heat through.
While beans are cooking, make sauce as follows:
Saute onion in margarine.
Add sugar, salt, vinegar, pepper and sour cream.
Heat through but do not boil.
Serve in separate dish along side of the beans or gently pour over beans in serving dish.
