Surf and Turf Brochettes

1 8 – 10 oz. lobster tail (cut into 1 in. pieces)

1 10 oz. top sirloin steak (cut into 1 in. pieces)

Marinade:

1/2 C. soy sauce

2 T. honey

1 1/2 t. ground ginger

1/2 t. ground thyme

1 t. onion powder

1 t. garlic powder

1/8 t. black pepper

Mix well and place beef and lobster pieces in it. Refrigerate for 2 hours.

Vegetables for the skewer:

cherry tomatoes

mushrooms

onion pieces cut in 1 inch squares (red onion adds a nice touch of color)

green pepper pieces cut in 1 inch squares

After marinating beef and lobster alternate pieces of both with the vegetables on a long skewer and cook over hot coals until the lobster is cooked (5-7 minutes). Remove from skewer and serve.
