Scrumptious Pumpkin Cake

1 large can pumpkin

1 large can evaporated milk

4 eggs

1 C. sugar

1/2 t. salt

2 t. pumpkin pie spice

1 yellow cake mix

1 1/2 C. chopped nuts

1 1/2 cubes of butter

Beat eggs, add milk, sugar, salt and spices and pumpkin. Pour into a buttered 13 x 9 inch pan. Sprinkle dry cake mix over top. Then sprinkle the nuts over the cake mix.

Add the butter in paper thin slices all over the top of the cake. Bake at 350°F., 45 – 50 minutes or until done.

Top with whipped topping.
